Cyrellys Geibhendach. In the spirit of their Oaths a team of OathKeepers, consisting of former law enforcement persons and combat veterans, volunteered to assist a small group of business owners and residents of a strip mall in Ferguson MO desiring protection from rioters and arsonists during the recent riots. The report from Joshua Cook of BenSwann.com, who spoke directly with the team leader and OathKeepers founder Stewart Rhodes described their experience over the several night stay. The team manned the roofs of the businesses and kept equipment and fire prevention supplies at the ready in the event of arsonists attempting to set the buildings aflame as had been done to others north and south of their position. However what readers need to become keenly aware of in this Manticore piece is how the report goes on to detail events more disturbing than the rioters they faced.
Aside ~ From the book ‘A Man Called Intrepid’ : “What is often forgotten is that the worst abuses of power within our democratic societies are exposed by our own people. The spirit of resistance is opposed to all forms of tyranny. We purge ourselves while we resist our enemies. This is the response of a concerned citizenry, knowing freedom is in danger, putting the responsibility for defending it squarely on individuals of honor and good intent. This is a sense of brotherhood that won’t fit into rules and regulations. and so long as this holds true, there will always be struggle, but there will be no final defeat.” – Sir William Stephenson
Sam, the team leader and Stewart Rhodes can be heard describing those disturbing events in an audio recording (link below) on the BenSwann.com site. They involve federal and possibly state law enforcement officials acting out unlawful orders without the consent or partnership of local law enforcement officials. Sam also outlines the absence of appropriate media attention upon the issues raised by the events.

Another article on the events put out by St Louis Post – Dispatch was less thorough and less clear among other issues. Manticore’s Quintas Dias had this to say on the article’s content:
Notice how this article remains consistent with the central theme of the deep state.*You have no rights in protecting yourself*Only government can do that*We have a monopoly on force*If you intrude into our bailiwick we will arrest you or kill you*Acting without our permission to exercise citizenship is terrorism*The media while praising in some aspects good citizenship, also in the long run, condemns and damns those efforts as anti-state sentiments.
This is an excellent example of the subtle manipulation of public perception by a complicit media. The observing citizenry should in this writer’s opinion be highly concerned to see trusted authority figures acquiescing to unlawful orders in tandem with at least one media outlet which backs it up with obvious bias and perceptional manipulation.
